The cover picture shows protein–protein interactions between aryl acid carrier proteins (green) and aryl acid adenylation (A) domains (blue) that were visualized and assessed by using a new gel‐based strategy coupled with activity‐based probes. The substrate specificities of these A‐domains are also shown. This strategy should be immediately useful for assessing the nature of transient and specific CP–partner interactions and manipulating protein–protein interactions between non‐native pairs.
