The cover picture shows DNA strand displacement being accelerated by ultrafast photo‐crosslinking with 3‐cyanovinylcarbazole. The invader strand (red) containing CNV K, which can crosslink to a pyrimidine base in a complementary strand after a few seconds of photoirradiation, can crosslink to the template strand (blue) and push out the passenger strand (green). The rate of photo‐crosslinking is a key factor; the rate of DNA strand displacement can be accelerated by using ultrafast photo‐crosslinking and regulated by photoirradiation energy.
