The back cover picture shows that A147T polymorphism does not perturb the structure or dynamics of mammalian TSPO. On p. 1483 ff., M. Zweckstetter et al. show that crucial side chains in the cholesterol recognition amino acid consensus (CRAC) motif have the same orientation in the wild‐type (grey) and A147T variant (orange), but not in the tryptophan‐rich sensory protein from R. sphaeroides (pink).
