The inside cover picture shows a multivalent “tree” of Lewis X ligands that represents multiantennary N ‐glycan ligands on a microarray surface. These ligands exhibited stronger binding towards the C‐type lectin receptor MGL‐1 than monovalent structures. On p. 844 ff., N.‐C. Reichardt, B. Lepenies et al. explain how multivalent presentation of Lewis X on the model antigen ovalbumin (OVA) allowed dendritic cells (DCs) to be targeted.
