Taking up position: Due to the importance of G protein‐coupled receptors as drug targets, their mechanism of activation is a major research interest. The recently developed AMBER stop codon suppression technology allows detailed insights into this process by use of p ‐azido‐ L ‐phenylalanine (azidoF) protein modification and FTIR analysis.
