Caught in the ACT . Two novel antimalarial molecules combining a CF 3 ‐artemisinin derivative (blue) and mefloquine (pink) have been synthesized. In vitro and in vivo assays of this artemisinin‐based combination therapy (ACT) showed the high efficacy of both chimeras against Plasmodium falciparum.
