Metal Complexes of Functionalized Sulfur‐Containing Ligands, VI [1] . – Stabilization of 1‐Alkyne‐1‐thiolato Ligands [R–C≡C–S – ; R = SiMe 3 , (η 5 ‐C 5 H 4 )Fe(η 5 ‐C 5 H 5 )] in Ru(II) und Pt(II) Complexes. X‐ray Structure Analysis of cis ‐(Ph 3 ‐P) 2 Pt[C≡C–(η 5 ‐C 5 H 5 )] 2 The 1‐alkyne‐1‐thiolates R–C≡C–SLi [ 1 : R = SiMe 3 , 3 : (η 5 ‐C 5 H 4 )Fe(η 5 ‐C 5 H 5 )] react with (Ph 3 P) 2 PtCl 2 and CpRu(PPh 3 ) 2 Cl to give the complexes trans ‐(Ph 3 P) 2 Pt(S–C≡C–SiMe 3 ) 2 ( 4a ), CpRu(PPh 3 ) 2 (S–C≡C‐SiMe 3 ) ( 4b ), and cis ‐(Ph 3 P) 2 Pt[S–C≡C–η 5 ‐C 5 H 4 )Fe(η 5 ‐C 5 H 5 )] 2 ( 5 ). The Pt(II) bis(acetylide) complex cis ‐(Ph 3 P) 2 Pt[C≡C–(η 5 ‐C 5 H 4 )Fe(η 5 ‐C 5 H 5 )] 2 ( 6a ) was isolated after chromatography of 5. The trans ‐configurated compound 6b is obtained by the reaction of [LiC≡C–(η 5 ‐C 5 H 4 )]Fe(η 5 ‐C 5 H 5 ) with (Ph 3 P) 2 PtCl 2 . The complexes are characterized by IR, 1 H‐, 13 C‐, and 31 P‐NMR spectroscopy, FAB mass spectrometry and X‐ray diffraction ( 6a ).
