Synthesis and Characterization of Substituted Nickel Hemiporphyrazines The butoxy‐substituted (hemiporphyrazinato)nickel compounds (C 4 H 9 O) 2 HpNi ( 7 ), (C 4 H 9 O) 4 HpNi ( 11 ), and (C 4 H 9 O) 6 HpNi ( 12 ) are prepared from isoindolenine 4 or 4,7‐dibutoxy‐1,3‐dihydro‐1,3‐diiminoisoindole ( 8 ), 2,6‐diaminopyridines and nickel acetate. The complexes 7, 11 , and 12 are soluble in common organic solvents and were characterized by 1 H‐and 13 C‐NMR spectroscopy.
