Dinuclear Nickel Complexes with Ni 2 E 4 Framework (EP, As) The photolysis of [Cp 4 Ni(μ‐CO)] 2 ( 1 , Cp 4 C 5 H( i Pr) 4 ) and P 4 affords [Cp 2 4 Ni 2 P 4 ] ( 2a ) and [Cp 4 Ni(η 3 ‐P 3 )] ( 3a ); the thermolysis of 1 and As 4 gives [Cp 2 4 Ni 2 As 4 ] ( 2b ) as well as [Cp 4 Ni(η 3 ‐As 3 )] ( 3b ). The tetranuclear complex [Cp 2 4 Ni 2 P 4 {W(CO) 5 } 2 ] ( 4 ) is formed from 2a and [W(CO) 5 (thf)]. Complexes 2b and 4 have been characterized by X–ray structure analyses.
