Synthesis of 3 H ‐1,2,3,4‐Triazametallole Complexes by the Addition of Methyl Azidoformate to the Metal–Carbon Triple Bond of Cyclopentadienyl‐Substituted Carbyne Complexes of Molybdenum and Tungsten N 3 CO 2 Me attacks the electron‐rich metal–carbon triple bond in C 5 H 5 (CO) 2 ‐ n (PMe 3 ) n MCR (M = Mo, W; R = Ph, Tol; n = 0, 1) ( 1 ) to provide neutral 3 H ‐1,2,3,4‐Triazametallole complexes 2 .
