Hydrocarbon‐Bridged Complexes, XXV [1] . – C–C Coupling of Anionic Tricarbonyl Manganese Complexes of Cyclic Polyenes with Cationic Tropylium Metal Compounds; Preparation and Structure of (OC) 3 Mn(μ‐η 5 :η 6 ‐C 7 H 8 ‐C 7 H 7 )M(CO) 3 , (OC) 3 Mn(μ‐η 5 :η 6 ‐C 8 H 10 –C 7 H 7 )M(CO) 3 , and (OC) 3 Mn(μ‐η 5 :η 5 ‐C 8 H 8 –C 7 H 7 )M(CO) 3 (M = Cr, Mo, W) The addition of the anionic complexes [(η 4 ‐C 7 H 8 )Mn(CO) 3 ] ‐ , [(η 4 ‐C 8 H 10 )Mn(CO) 3 ] ‐ and [(η 4 ‐C 8 H 8 )Mn(CO) 3 ] ‐ to the cations [(η 7 ‐C 7 H 7 )M(CO) 3 ] + (M = Cr, Mo, W) gives the hydrocarbon‐bridged complexes (OC) 3 Mn(μ‐η 5 :η 6 ‐C 7 H 8 –C 7 H 7 )M(CO) 3 , (OC) 3 Mn(μ‐η 5 :η 6 ‐C 8 H 10 –C 7 H 7 )M(CO) 3 , and (OC) 3 Mn(μ‐η 5 :η 6 ‐C 8 H 8 –C 7 H 7 )M(CO) 3 (M = Cr, Mo, W). The structures of 4b and 6a have been determined by X‐ray diffraction.
