The potentiality of 13 C (CPMAS) NMR as a conformational probe for the oligomeric macrocycles p ‐( tert ‐butyl)calix‐[ n ]arenes ( n = 4, 6, 8) and their alkoxy/acetoxy derivatives in the solid state is explored.
