Metal Complexes of Biologically Important Ligands, LXIII 1) . — Aspartame as Tridendate Ligand in Organometallic Complexes: Preparation and Structure of Cp * Rh[O 2 CCH 2 CH(NH 2 )C(O)NCH(CH 2 Ph)CO 2 Me] Aspartame reacts with [Cp * RhCl 2 ] 2 in the presence of base to give the title complex 1 with the deprotonated tridendate dipeptide ester as ligand.
