Several cycloaddition reactions of 1‐alkoxy‐1,2‐propadienes 1 with 1‐oxa‐1,3‐dienes 2 , catalyzed by acid‐free silica gel, are described. The resulting 3,4‐dihydro‐3‐methylene‐2 H ‐pyrans 3 are transformed into synthetically interesting glutaraldehyde derivatives 10 – 13 .
