Photolytic and Thermic Reactions of μ 3 ‐As[WCp(CO) 2 ] 3 with Fe(CO) 5 and Fe 2 (CO) 9 ; X‐Ray Structure Analyses of the Clusters FeW 2 Cp 2 (CO) 7 [μ 3 ‐As–WCp(CO) 3 ], Fe 2 WCp(CO) 6 H[μ 3 ‐As–WCp(CO) 3 ] μ 3 ‐As[WCp(CO) 2 ] 3 ( 1 ) (Cp = C 5 H 5 ) reacts with Fe(CO) 5 photolytically and thermically to yield FeW 2 Cp 2 (CO) 7 [μ 3 ‐As–WCp(CO) 3 ] ( 5 ) and Fe 2 WCp(CO) 8 H[μ 3 ‐As–WCp(CO) 3 ] ( 6 ), respectively. Thermal reaction of 1 with Fe 2 (CO) 9 leads to the compound Fe 2 WCp(CO) 8 H[μ 3 ‐As–FeCp(CO) 2 ] ( 7 besides 5 and 6 . The products have been characterized by spectroscopic methods and X‐ray crystallography.
