Metal Complexes of Biologically Important Ligands, LVII. – 1‐Selenoglucose as Ligand in Metal Complexes Reactions of the in situ‐prepared anion of acetylated 1‐selenoglucose with chloro complexes give the compounds R' 3 PAuSeR (R'=Me, El, Ph), cis ;‐(Ph 3 P) 2 Pt(SeR) 2 and (η 5 C 5 H 5 ) 2 Ti(SeR) 2 (SeR=2,3,4,6‐tetra‐ O ‐acetyl‐1‐seleno‐β‐D‐glucopyranosato‐ Se ). The complexes (η 5 ‐C 5 H 5 )(OC) 2 FeSeR and (OC) 3 M(μ‐SeR) 2 M(CO) 3 (MFe, Ru) are prepared by the reaction of the diselenide RSeSeR with the dinuclear compound [η 5 ‐C 5 H 5 Fe(CO) 2 ] 2 and M 3 (CO) 12 (MFe, Ru), respectively.
