Preparation of [Dimethylamino(thiocarbonyl)thioamido]titanium(IV) Dihalides – Compounds with Short Ti – N Bonds Reaction of Me 2 NC(S)SN(SiMe 3 ) 2 ( 1 ) with TiCl 4 and TiBr 4 yields ( 2 ) and ( 3 ). Treatment of 2 and 3 with pyridine (py) leads to the solvates · 3 py [ 2a (XCl), 3a (XBr)]. These adducts have been characterized by X‐ray structure determination.
