Transition‐Metal‐Substituted Diphosphenes. XIX. ‐ On the Reactivity of Disilylphosphido Iron Complexes towards 2,4.6‐(CF 3 ) 3 C 6 H 2 PCl 2 and 2.6‐(CF 3 ) 2 C 6 H 3 PCl 2 . Diphosphenyl Complexes with Fluoroaryl Substituents (η 5 ‐C 5 Me 5 )(CO) 2 FeP(SiMe 3 ) 2 ( 2a ) and (η 5 ‐C 5 H 5 )(CO)(PPh 3 )‐FeP(SiMe 3 ) 2 ( 2c ) react with ArylPCl 2 [ 3a : Aryl 2,4,6‐(CF) 3 ‐C 6 H 2 ; b : Aryl 2,6‐(CF) 2 C 6 H 3 ] to yield the thermolabile diphosphenyl complexes (η 5 ‐C 5 Me 5 )(CO) 2 FePP‐Aryl ( 4a,b ) and (η 5 ‐C 5 H 5 )(CO)(PPh 3 )FePP‐Aryl ( 4c,d ), respectively. The isolation of the pure compounds 4a ‐ d failed. They are, however, intercepted as their (CO) 5 Cr adducts 5a – d by treatment with [(Z)‐cyclooctene]Cr(CO) 5 ‐ Complex (η 5 C 5 Me 5 )(CO) 2 FeP[Cr(CO) 5 ] P‐C 6 H 2 (CF 3 ) 3 ‐(2,4,6) ( 5a ) is characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis.
