The Reaction of 3‐Borolenes with Terminal Acetylenes: A New Route to 2‐Borolenes 3‐Borolenes (2,5‐dihydro‐1 H ‐boroles) ( 1a : R′H, RPh; 1b : R′H, RCy; 1c : R′Me, RPh) readily react with terminal acetylenes R″CCH (R″Bu, t Bu, 1‐Cyclohexenyl, Ph, ClCH 2 , BrCH 2 ) to give a variety of 3‐substituted 4‐vinyl‐2‐borolenes ( 2 ).
