The syntheses of the rhenium(VII) title compounds (pz)ReO 3 ( 1 ) and [HB(pz) 3 ]ReO 3 ( 2 ) (pz = pyrazolyl) are described. An X‐ray crystallographic study of 2 shows, that it has a monomeric structure.
