Hetero π‐Systems, 17. — Aminosilylen (Aminosilanediyl) Aminosilylene can be prepared by 254‐nm photolysis of silyl azide isolated in an argon matrix at 12 K. Subsequent irradiation with wavelengths > 300 nm yields silaisonitrile ( 3 ) and molecular hydrogen. This reaction may be reversed with 254‐nm light.
