Organometallic Lewis Acids, XXXIX. – σ, π‐Ethynide Bridged Rhenium Iron Carbonyls [(OC) 5 Re(μ‐η 1 :η 2 ‐C)‐Fe(CO) 2 Cp] + BF 4 − (R = Me, Ph) The addition of Re(CO) 5 + [as Re(CO) 5 FBF 3 ] to Cp(OC) 2 ‐FeCCR (R = Me, Ph) gives under electrophilic substitution of Fe(CO) 2 Cp + by Re(CO) 5 + the σ,π‐ethynide bridged title complexes 1 of which the phenylethynide compound 1a has been characterized by X‐ray structural analysis.
