Aza‐arachno‐heptaboranes, a Novel Class of Azaboranes In the presence of 2,6‐lutidine (Lu), iminoboranes RBNR′ ( 1a – c , R/R′ = i Pr/ t Bu, t Bu/ t Bu, t Bu/SiMe 3 ) are added to B 5 H 9 to give [LuH][R′NB 6 H 8 R] ( 2a – c ). A monocapped trigonal prism for the arachno ‐NB 6 skeleton of 2a – c is deduced from 11 B‐NMR data.
