A New Bicyclic System with a P(V)–P (III)–P(V) Unit PhCN 2 (SiMe 3 ) 3 ( 1 ) reacts with PhPCl 2 in a molar ratio of 2:3 to give the bicyclic system 2 with a P(V)–P(III)–P(V) unit, characterized by an X‐ray structure analysis. Dichlorophenylphosphane reacts with [Me 2 NC(NH 2 ) 2 ]Cl ( 3 ) to form 4 . The reaction of Me 2 NCN with LiN(SiMe 3 ) 2 and PhPCl 2 yields 5 containing a P(V)–P(III)–P(III)–P(V) chain.
