Diels‐Alder Reactions of 2,3‐Bis( tert ‐butyldimethylsilyloxy)‐1,3‐butadiene with Heterodienophiles Double silylation of biacetyl ( 1 ) yields 2,3‐bis( tert ‐butyldimethylsilyloxy)‐1,3‐butadiene ( 2 ). This diene reacts with various heterodienophiles to give the adducts 3 – 10 .
