Tetraorganodiboroxane R 2 BOBR 2 ( 1 ) [ 1a : R = C 2 H 5 , 1b : R 2 = 1,5‐Cyclooctandiyl = C 8 H 14 ] reagieren mit Aluminiumtrihalogeniden AlHal 3 ( 2 ) [( 2a ) n : Hal = Cl, ( 2b ) 2 : Hal = Cl, ( 2b ) 2 : Hal = Br] unter Abspaltung von Halogendiorganoboranen R 2 BHal ( 4 ) [ 4aa : R = C 2 H 5 , Hal = Cl; 4ab : R = C 2 H 5 , Hal = Br; 4ba : R 2 = C 8 H 14 , Hal = Cl; 4bb : R 2 = C 8 H 14 , Hal = Br] in Ausbeuten von >90% zu den kristallisierten, in Lösung und in festem Zustand dimeren (Dihalogenaluminiooxy)diorganoboranen (Hal 2 AlOBR 2 ) 2 ( 3xy ) 2 [( 3aa ) 2 : R = C 2 H 5 , Hal = Cl; ( 3ba ) 2 : R 2 = C 8 H 14 , Hal = Cl; ( 3ab ) 2 : R = C 2 H 5 , Hal = Br; ( 3bb ) 2 : R 2 = C 8 H 14 , Hal = Br], die über zwei AlOAl‐Bindungen assoziiert sind [ 1 H‐, 11 B‐, 13 C‐, 17 O‐, 27 Al‐NMR‐Daten]. – Die Röntgenstrukturanalysen von ( 3aa ) 2 und ( 3bb ) 2 bestätigen den AlOAlO‐Vierring mit jeweils exocyclischen O ‐Diorganoboryl‐Resten.
