Aryliridium(I)‐ Verbindungen des Typs Ir(CO)[C 6 H 4–n Me n –CH 3 ‐(2)](PPh 3 ) 2 reagieren mit Chelatphosphanen chel ‐P 3 unter PPh 3 ‐Substitution, CO‐Insertion und oxidativer Benzyl C – H‐Addition spontan zu metallaheterocyclischen Iridaindanon‐Spezies der Formel fac ‐ (chel ‐P 3 )1 – 4 ) (C 6 H 4‐n Me n C 6 H 4 , C 6 H 3 Me‐(6), C 6 H 2 Me 2 ‐(4, 6); chel ‐P 3 PhP[(CH 2 ) 3 PPh 2 ] 2 , MeP[(CH 2 ) 3 PPh 2 ] 2 , PhP[(CH 2 ) 2 PPh 2 ] 2 MeC(CH 2 PPh 2 ) 3 ). Die cyclischen Iridium(III)‐Verbindungen wurden spektroskopisch (IR, 1 H‐ und 31 P‐NMR) sowie röntgenographisch ( fac ‐[PhP(CH 2 CH 2 CH 2 PPh 2 ) 2 ]‐, 1 a ) untersucht.
