Transition Metal Substituted Phosphanes, Arsanes, and Stibanes, XXXVII. Some BH 3 ‐Adducts of Transition Metal Substituted Arsanes The transition metal substituted arsanes Cp(CO) 2 (L)M–AsMe 2 ( 1a – d ) (M = Mo, W; L = CO, Me 3 P) react with the tetrahydrofuran adduct of H 3 B to yield the corresponding 1:1 coordination compounds Cp(CO) 2 (L)M–AsMe 2 –BH 3 ( 2a – d ), which are characterized by 1 H, 11 B NMR, and IR spectroscopy. Treatment of 2a with Me 3 P results both in CO substitution and BH 3 abstraction to give 2c , 1a , and Me 3 P–BH 3 .
