Electrochemical Generation of Adamantene The electrochemical dehalogenation of the dihalides of adamantane 2‐4 proceeds via adamantene ( 1 ) to give the dimers 7 and 8 . In the presence of butadiene adduct 6 is isolated (50%). The furan adduct 9 can also be detected.
