Dichlorotris(dimethylamino)phosphorane as a Dehydratisation Reagent for the Preparation of N ‐Protected Amino Acid Amides Besides for the synthesis of peptides and activated esters dichlorotris(dimethylamino)phosphorane ( 2 ) now proved to be an excellent reagent for the preparation of N ‐protected amino acid amides.
