Bis[bis(pentafluoro‐λ 6 ‐sulfanyl)amino]mercury, Hg[N(SF 5 ) 2 ] 2 From the neat reaction of SF 5 NSF 4 ( 1 ) and HgF 2 at 20–60°C Hg[N(SF 5 ) 2 ] 2 ( 8 ) was obtained in 50% yield. By 8 transfer of the bis(pentafluoro‐λ 6 ‐sulfanyl)amino group is possible, from CH 3 I and CF 3 )SCl CH 3 N(SF 5 ) 2 ( 11 ) and CF 3 SN(SF 5 ) 2 ( 12 ) were synthesized. A short comparison of the (SF 5 ) 2 N with the (CF 3 ) 2 N group is given.
