Tautomerism of Heterocyclic Compounds, IX. Preparation of Substituted Benzothiazines and Benzoxazines via N ‐Aroylchloroformamidines The 2‐aminobenzothiazinones 3a – c are prepared by reaction of 1a – c with phenylhydrazine. The aromatic 2‐hydroxycarbonyl chlorides 4a , b react with 1‐cyanopyrrolidine to give the not isolated heterocyclic compounds 5a , b which are readily hydrolized to 6a , b .
