Reaction between Tetrachlorocyclopropene and Azide Tetrachlorocyclopropene ( 1 ) reacts with sodium azide to yield 1,2,3‐trichlorocyclopropenyl azide ( 2 ), a very labile product which is transformed into trichloroacrylonitrile ( 3 ) with evolution ot nitrogen.
