Cumulated Ylides, X Structure of the Thermal Dimerization‐products of N ‐Aryl(triphenylphosphoranylidene)‐ketenimines 1 dimerize in the melting by (4 + 2)‐cycloaddition, protonmigration and Smiles‐rearrangement to [4‐(diarylamino)‐3‐(diphenylphosphino)‐2‐chinolylmethylene]triphenylphosphoranes 5 . The structure of 5a is determined by x‐ray analysis.
