Synthesis and Reactions of New 3‐Chloro‐ N ‐[chloro(dialkylamino)methylene]benzo[ b ]thio‐phene‐2‐carboxamides The substituted 3‐chlorobenzo[ b ]thiophene‐2‐carbonyl chlorides 2) 2a‐h react with cyanamides 1a – e to form the 3‐chloro‐ N ‐[chloro(dialkylamino)methylene]benzo[ b ]thiophene‐2‐carboxamides 3a – m . By exchanging the Cl‐atom of the chloroformamidine group in 3e with a O‐, S‐ or N‐nucleophile we produced the new compounds 6 – 11 .
