Simple Preparation of the Binary Metal‐Sulfur Clusters [MO 3 S 13 ] 2− and [Mo 2 S I2 ] 2− from MoO 4 2− in Practically Quantitative Yield (NH 4 ) 2 [Mo 3 S(S 2 ) 6 ] 2 H 2 O ( 2 ) could be isolated by heating an aqueous solution of MoO 4 2− with (NH 4 2− S x , for several hours. The anions of both compounds are in equilibrium under the stated conditions.
