α‐Sulfonyl Ethers, 16: Synthesis and Properties of Aryl Arylsulfonylmethyl Ethers The araliphatic aryl arylsulfonylmethyl ethers 3 are synthesized by three ways. Their carbanions obtained from 3 by strong bases are acylated to yield α‐aryloxy‐β‐oxosulfones 10 and 11 .
