Polyspirocyclic Complexes of Palladium with Phosphorus Ylides Bis(trimethylphosphine)palladium(II) chloride reacts with trimethyl(methylene)phosphorane, 1‐methyl‐1‐methylene‐λ 5 ‐phospholane and ‐phosphorinane to form polyspirocyclic dimers of the general formula {R 2 P(CH 2 ) 2 Pd‐μ,μ′‐[R 2 P(CH 2 ) 2 ] 2 ‐Pd(CH 2 ) 2 PR 2 }, R 2 =(CH 3 ) 2 , [CH 2 ] 4 and [CH 2 ] 5 ( 3 – 5 ). With (CH 3 ) 3 PCH 2 an ionic precursor {(CH 3 ) 2 P(CH 2 ) 2 Pd[CH 2 P‐(CH 3 ) 3 ] 2 }⊕Cl⊖ ( 2 ) has been detected.
