Tertiary Phosphines/Hexachloroethane as Condensing Agent in Peptide Synthesis A new method for the convenient preparation of peptides via a simultaneous action of tertiary phosphines and hexachloroethane on N ‐protected amino acids and amino acid esters is reported. The procedure is transferred on a Ph 2 P‐containing resin which can be regenerated easily on treatment with phosgene.
