trans ‐ und cis ‐3.4‐Dibrom‐ ( 4a und 10a ) sowie ‐3.4‐Dichlor‐hexen‐(3)‐dion‐(2.5) ( 4b und 10b ) werden durch Chromsäureoxydation von trans ‐3.4‐Dibrom‐ bzw. ‐3.4‐Dichlor‐hexen‐(3)‐diol‐(2.5) ( 3a und 3b ) dargestellt. Die cis ‐Isomeren 10a und 10b lassen sich nur in Form ihrer Hydrate als 3.4‐Dibrom‐ bzw. 3.4‐Dichlor‐2.5‐dihydroxy‐2.5‐dimethyl‐2.5‐dihydro‐furane ( 11a und 11b ) isolieren. Die UV‐ und IR‐spektroskopischen Eigenschaften von 4a und 4b werden diskutiert.
