Die Umsetzung von Formamid mit Methyläthylketon über Aluminiumoxyd führt bei 350–360° zu α‐Amino‐methyläthylacetonitril, bei 250–260° zu N ‐[α‐Amino‐isovaleryl]‐ N ′‐[2‐imino‐5‐methyl‐3.5‐diäthyl‐pyrrolidinyl‐(3)]‐harnstoff.
