Das Produkt der alkalischen Verseifung von Vinylacetat in Wasser unter 15°, C 8 H 14 O 4 , wird als Acetyl‐aldoxan erkannt; bei entsprechender alkalischer Verseifung von Vinylpropionat entsteht Propicnyl‐aldoxan.
