The hexachloroantimonate salt of the [(SCl) 2 N] + cation, [(SCl) 2 N] + [SbCl 6 ] − ( 1 ), was prepared in a one‐step reaction from easily available [SCl 3 ] + [SbCl 6 ] − and N(SiMe 3 ) 3 and isolated in good yield (60%). The compound was identified by chemical analyses and vibrational spectroscopy (IR, Raman). The geometrical and the vibrational data were also computed ab initio and are in good agreement with the experimental results.
