Cover Picture . Cornus officinalis Siebold & Zucc. in the Cornaceae family is a deciduous tree growing in most areas of China, including Shaanxi, Henan and Zhejiang. The fruit of C. officinalis , also known as Corni Fructus, is used as a well‐known Chinese medicine to treat a number of diseases, including diabetes, nephropathy and hepatopathy. To further enhance the search for structurally diverse and biologically significant compounds from the fruit of C. officinalis , two undescribed iridoid glucosides, named as cornusglucoside A ( 1 ) and cornusglucoside B ( 2 ), were isolated. Furthermore, 1 and 2 exhibited moderate inhibitory activities on IL‐6‐induced STAT3 promoter activity, as reported by He et al . in their full paper at 10.1002/cbdv.201900421.
