How a college or university handles a potential NCAA violation can make a significant difference in the outcome for everyone involved. To help athletics departments conduct effective on‐campus investigations of potential violations involving student‐athletes, coaches, or staff, the NCAA's Managing Director of Enforcement — Investigations and Processing Derrick Crawford, and Director of Enforcement Brynna Barnhart gave a virtual presentation during the annual NCAA Convention. Their guidance applies to investigating potential level one, two, or major violations in all divisions.
