The Big East Conference launched BE the Change, a conferencewide advocacy platform aimed at engaging people on issues of racial and social justice, in early July. BE the Change is part of a broader Big East campaign, A Call to Action on Anti‐Racism and Social Justice, created to spotlight ways to combat racial inequality. The conference has three diversity, equity, and inclusion strategic priorities: education, diversity in hiring, and awareness/advocacy.
