There are numerous traits and skills needed to lead a team. However, when we lead through a crisis that could ultimately shift how we do business, inherent traits woven through a leader keep us moving forward through rapid change and nurture our team in the process. Whether we like it or not, life is wrapped in change, and it is here to stay. Learning new ways of doing things draws us out of our comfort zones. But when change is thrust upon us, pushing us out of our comfort zone, our response is our choice . As leaders dare to step out of their comfort zones and teach their team the advantages of making bold but responsible decisions, lasting excellence can be secured for our institutions.
