You don't have to look very far to find yet another story about allegations of sexual assault or harassment within a college athletics department. The stories range from alleged rampant sexual misconduct to expulsions of student‐athletes for such conduct to various criminal prosecutions related to the same. The facts of many of these cases are obviously offensive and demand immediate, swift case processing and justice. In certain other cases, however, there's been an unfortunate rush to judgment before discovering all the relevant facts and true context.
