ORLANDO, FLA. — More than 20,000 international student‐athletes are enrolled and competing at National Collegiate Athletic Association schools, according to NCAA research. And many of these student‐athletes might start school in one country and transfer to a school in yet another country before finally applying to U.S. colleges. “We're seeing a lot of student mobility these days,” said Lorinda Grogg, director of institutional relations at World Education Services, a not‐for‐profit organization operating in the United States and Canada and governed by an independent board of trustees. She spoke at the National Association for Athletics Compliance.
