The plaintiff became the head women's basketball coach and assistant athletic director at Northland College in 2009. Four years later, Northland investigated a Title IX complaint alleging that the plaintiff had made inappropriate comments to females, and decided it wasn't credible. In the fall, the plaintiff became Northland's full‐time AD.
